New York is the state with highest lottery revenue. A good amount of the revenue goes to the state’s public K-12 schools and other schools.

Georgia gives excellent students lottery scholarships. This grant helped 2 million students attend college since 1993.

The lottery proceeds in Maryland will be used to renovate stadiums. Initially, this revenue was used to pay off a loan for the construction of two stadiums.
